Who We Are
Hayati.io is a non-profit organization founded by Hayi Nukman, an experienced software engineer who is passionate about education and technology. Hayi recognized the need for free computer education in rural areas of Lombok, where many students lack access to computer resources and opportunities to learn about technology. Together with co-founders Mirnayati, a freelancer illustrator, and Rizal Juliandi, a freelancer photographer, they established hayati.io to provide a solution to this problem.
Our program is designed to empower young students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the digital age. We offer free computer education to children in rural Lombok, focusing on real-world applications of computer technology such as coding, graphic design, and website development. Our program is female-friendly, as we believe in promoting gender equality and encouraging girls to pursue education in computer technology.
We are located in Dusun Montong Lauq, Desa Selat, Narmada, where we currently serve three neighbourhood villages and have taught 50 students and counting. Our team of dedicated instructors is committed to providing an interactive and engaging learning experience that encourages students to explore their creativity and experiment with new ideas.
Hayati.io would not be possible without the support of our generous donors and volunteers. Financial donations help us cover the costs of equipment, materials, and teaching staff, while donations of computers or laptops ensure that every student has access to the tools needed for learning. We also welcome volunteers who are passionate about education and technology and want to make a difference in the lives of young students.
